With November mere days away, you’ll likely have your seasonal marketing campaigns well underway. Last year’s online shopping day, Cyber Monday was a global record breaker so making sure your eCommerce website is prepped and ready to receive hoards of Christmas shoppers is of vital importance. That said, there’s also a holiday a little closer to hand that could give you an opportunity to engage with your customers, drive a little extra traffic to your site, stand out over competitors and of course, make extra sales. We’re talking about Halloween!

If you don’t already have some spooky content planned for the next couple of weeks, Pinterest has released lots of handy data pinpointing what’s trending on its social network. With millions of Halloween-themed boards, it has plenty of insight into exactly what people are searching for – which means that you have plenty of information to hand to create content, emails, social media posts, eCommerce offers, landing pages and blogs around keywords in high demand. Use this info to tailor your activities and drive some extra seasonal visitors to your website, sell more of your related products and create content that captures consumers’ eyes for more likes, shares and comments socially. Here’s what Pinterest says is trending right now… Costumes Pinterest users are a fun lot it seems as there are millions of searches happening around costumes. The type of costumes that are popular vary somewhat from region to region but, in the USA it’s all about TV shows and movies. Stranger Things and the Powerpuff Girls are trending across the Atlantic while in Europe, there’s more searches for mermaid costumes. Old favourites like pirates and circus-themed costumes are universally popular. Even if you don’t sell costumes, you could use this info to create a blog post or add on-trend imagery to landing pages and social media profiles.Plus size Halloween costume searches have growth this year, up 90% on 2018 while Halloween couple’s costume search volume has skyrocketed by 367%. Makeup What’s Halloween without a scary painted on face or dramatic makeup? Searches for Halloween makeup videos have leaped 1073% according to Pinterest. If you want more traction, either create your own or share a few popular ones on your company Facebook page. Parties Most of us love a party and this year, it seems we’re all going overboard to deck out our homes and offices with the biggest and best Halloween look of all. Searches for décor items are booming (which is great news if you’re a retailer) with Stranger Things Halloween decorations up 549% and Halloween garage decorations up 71%.Food and drinks searches are peaking too, as you’d expect – Halloween cupcake ideas searches have jumped 452% while a recipe for Halloween jack-o-lantern chips and dips has been saved over 57,000 times at last count.

Your homepage is your agency’s first handshake. If it’s unclear, cluttered, or generic—you’re losing potential clients in seconds. Here's what your homepage actually needs to convert visitors into leads. 1. A Headline That Tells Them What You Do “Helping local businesses grow with mobile apps and digital tools.” Make it specific, client-focused, and benefit-driven. If it could apply to anyone, it applies to no one. 2. A Strong Subheadline That Builds Trust “Trusted by 1,000+ entrepreneurs across 20 countries.” This is your social proof shortcut. Numbers work. So do logos and testimonials. 3. A Visual That Shows the Result Use mockups, screenshots, or lifestyle photos. Help visitors see what they’ll get—a mobile app, a dashboard, a website, a client smiling. 4. A Short List of Benefits (Not Features) Launch your digital presence fast No tech skills required Support and tools included Keep it tight. Think “what’s in it for me?” from the client’s point of view. 5. A Clear Call to Action (CTA) “Book a free call” “Get your launch pack” “See what’s possible” CTAs should stand out visually and be repeated 2–3 times on the page. 6. A Simple Contact Form or Button Make it easy to get in touch or book. Remove friction. Don’t ask for more than name, email, and one question. Pro tip: You don’t need to design from scratch. The Eazi-Business Business-in-a-Box gives you ready-made homepage templates with proven structure, persuasive copy blocks, and branding flexibility. Use our pre-built website framework to launch with confidence and convert faster.
