TikTok The viral video app, TikTok has burst onto the social media scene and we expect that more and more businesses will look to cash in on this popularity in the New Year. The latest figures suggest that the network has around half a billion worldwide users so it’s fairly easy to make the argument for dipping a toe in the waters. Those social media site is the video equivalent of Instagram, with users uploading short clips to their accounts rather than photos. If you’re already comfortable with Stories, adding TikTok to your social media shouldn’t take you that far out of your comfort zone. Likes no longer an engagement metric Instagram has already lit the match on this tinderbox with its experiment of removing likes. Part of the impetus for this change has been the desire to create a more positive environment for social media users and creators so, we think it is possible that other social media platforms will follow suit. Regardless, this move means that there is almost certain to be a shift against likes as a metric, meaning you may find yourself measuring your social media success by other factors as we get deeper in to 2020. More personalisation Personalisation is so vital to many other aspects of digital marketing that it’s only a matter of time before it takes on increased importance and a higher profile on social media. If you are one of a growing number of brands taking to your Stories or social channels to ask your followers to complete a survey and tell you what they want more or less of from you, you’ve already made good progress towards making this trend something that you practise with your own social media marketing efforts. Stories will grow and grow Stories have already won over legions of fans but we can foresee even more emphasis and resources directed at ephemeral content in 2020. Whether this involved more lives, more video or even investing in professional photography or graphic design to make your Stories stand out, we predict you’ll spend more time and effort on this corner of social media over the next 12 months.

Your homepage is your agency’s first handshake. If it’s unclear, cluttered, or generic—you’re losing potential clients in seconds. Here's what your homepage actually needs to convert visitors into leads. 1. A Headline That Tells Them What You Do “Helping local businesses grow with mobile apps and digital tools.” Make it specific, client-focused, and benefit-driven. If it could apply to anyone, it applies to no one. 2. A Strong Subheadline That Builds Trust “Trusted by 1,000+ entrepreneurs across 20 countries.” This is your social proof shortcut. Numbers work. So do logos and testimonials. 3. A Visual That Shows the Result Use mockups, screenshots, or lifestyle photos. Help visitors see what they’ll get—a mobile app, a dashboard, a website, a client smiling. 4. A Short List of Benefits (Not Features) Launch your digital presence fast No tech skills required Support and tools included Keep it tight. Think “what’s in it for me?” from the client’s point of view. 5. A Clear Call to Action (CTA) “Book a free call” “Get your launch pack” “See what’s possible” CTAs should stand out visually and be repeated 2–3 times on the page. 6. A Simple Contact Form or Button Make it easy to get in touch or book. Remove friction. Don’t ask for more than name, email, and one question. Pro tip: You don’t need to design from scratch. The Eazi-Business Business-in-a-Box gives you ready-made homepage templates with proven structure, persuasive copy blocks, and branding flexibility. Use our pre-built website framework to launch with confidence and convert faster.
