We’ve all heard the phrase content is king but, how many of us equate that to written content in the form of blog posts and articles, rather than video? When it comes to creating content in a format that consumers engage with, video is actually where it’s at.Whether you’re just launching a web design business or are a brand assessing your existing site and content strategy, it pays to have your finger firmly on the ‘play’ button. If you still aren’t convinced, read on to discover exactly why video is important. Facebook says so When a social media giant like Facebook tips a format or tool for success, it’s a good bet that pick is about to explode in popularity. Two years ago, insiders at the social network were already predicting that video would dominate the platform within the next five years. Track back through recent Facebook developments and you can see that more and more tools are being rolled out that champion video. It’s the most shared form of media on mobile The importance of mobile devices for internet and content consumption needs no introduction but did you know that video is far and away the most shared mobile content format? Either as a brand or as a web developer, this fact alone should go some way to convincing you that video is a great way to engage with your end user. Consumers expect you to create video content Video is not just something that marketers with big budgets and lots of sophisticated tech are championing. HubSpot research suggests that more than half (54%) of consumers actually want the brands they interact with to produce video content. This is higher than their desire for email newsletters or social images. It’s memorable Because humans are inherently visual creatures, video is also a great way to engineer brand recall. The same HubSpot research determined that 43% of consumers found video to be the most memorable of all branded content encountered in the last month, versus just 36% for branded photo content. Your audience likely consumers a lot of video We mentioned earlier that consumers want brands to create videos and that video was the most shared content format from mobile. That translates to a really engaged audience which means in all likelihood, your desired customer or website visitor is already in the habit of watching video online. Around 8 in 10 people are thought to watch a video online each month and more than half, every day. In fact, statistics show that 500 million people watch video on Facebook alone every day.

Your homepage is your agency’s first handshake. If it’s unclear, cluttered, or generic—you’re losing potential clients in seconds. Here's what your homepage actually needs to convert visitors into leads. 1. A Headline That Tells Them What You Do “Helping local businesses grow with mobile apps and digital tools.” Make it specific, client-focused, and benefit-driven. If it could apply to anyone, it applies to no one. 2. A Strong Subheadline That Builds Trust “Trusted by 1,000+ entrepreneurs across 20 countries.” This is your social proof shortcut. Numbers work. So do logos and testimonials. 3. A Visual That Shows the Result Use mockups, screenshots, or lifestyle photos. Help visitors see what they’ll get—a mobile app, a dashboard, a website, a client smiling. 4. A Short List of Benefits (Not Features) Launch your digital presence fast No tech skills required Support and tools included Keep it tight. Think “what’s in it for me?” from the client’s point of view. 5. A Clear Call to Action (CTA) “Book a free call” “Get your launch pack” “See what’s possible” CTAs should stand out visually and be repeated 2–3 times on the page. 6. A Simple Contact Form or Button Make it easy to get in touch or book. Remove friction. Don’t ask for more than name, email, and one question. Pro tip: You don’t need to design from scratch. The Eazi-Business Business-in-a-Box gives you ready-made homepage templates with proven structure, persuasive copy blocks, and branding flexibility. Use our pre-built website framework to launch with confidence and convert faster.
