To be a successful entrepreneur, you may have to use a number of online platforms to scale and grow.

In 2022, having a great idea and an excellent business plan aren’t the only things that you need to become a successful entrepreneur.

It’s now more important than ever to use a range of online platforms that are designed to help you scale and grow your business--to take it to the next level.

We’ll be taking you through some of the key platforms that any entrepreneur should be using in 2022, and how you can use them in the most effective way.

Social media

Social media is one of the most important platforms you can use to get yourself and your business in front of your potential customers, colleagues and peers.

Whether you use Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn as your social media platform of choice, it doesn’t matter--as long as you’re online.

The key to success on social media is creating valuable content, consistently to help grow your following.

Online communities for entrepreneurs

When starting your business, it can be incredibly useful to find an online community of fellow entrepreneurs that you can bounce ideas off and market your business to.

There are plenty of online platforms, like Startups of London, Hatch or Startup Grind where you can connect, network and work with like-minded business people.

Newsletter and email platforms

Building up a list of email contacts that you can send newsletters to, like through Mailchimp or Substack is another way to create a close relationship with your customers and build a real community around your business.

Email subscribers are much more engaged than the regular consumer so will be quicker to give feedback, test new functions and make purchases from your business.

Subscription-based monetisation platforms

The subscription economy is booming and has created an alternative source of income for entrepreneurs to reach their customers in new, monetised ways.

Using a platform that helps you to offer your customers a subscription service that compliments your business, like monthly content, monthly deals or monthly products could be the key to succeeding as an entrepreneur.

Organisation platforms

Finally, every entrepreneur should use a mix of online organisation platforms to help organise their business and team for success.

Platforms like Trello, Slack, Google Workspace and Monday.com are all excellent examples of platforms perfect for any entrepreneur.

Starting a new business is not easy. There are a lot of things to consider and decisions to make. It’s also important to avoid investing your hard earned money in a business that does not give you a great return. Small mistakes in the early stages can manifest themselves into bigger problems further down the road.

Starting a new business can be time-consuming and difficult. The first challenge is to find or build a great product or service that your customers need. You will also need to create a brand, develop marketing collateral, design a website, find customers, and develop a range of new skills. You will most likely have to hire a team of experts to help you get started.

Your homepage is your agency’s first handshake. If it’s unclear, cluttered, or generic—you’re losing potential clients in seconds. Here's what your homepage actually needs to convert visitors into leads. 1. A Headline That Tells Them What You Do “Helping local businesses grow with mobile apps and digital tools.” Make it specific, client-focused, and benefit-driven. If it could apply to anyone, it applies to no one. 2. A Strong Subheadline That Builds Trust “Trusted by 1,000+ entrepreneurs across 20 countries.” This is your social proof shortcut. Numbers work. So do logos and testimonials. 3. A Visual That Shows the Result Use mockups, screenshots, or lifestyle photos. Help visitors see what they’ll get—a mobile app, a dashboard, a website, a client smiling. 4. A Short List of Benefits (Not Features) Launch your digital presence fast No tech skills required Support and tools included Keep it tight. Think “what’s in it for me?” from the client’s point of view. 5. A Clear Call to Action (CTA) “Book a free call” “Get your launch pack” “See what’s possible” CTAs should stand out visually and be repeated 2–3 times on the page. 6. A Simple Contact Form or Button Make it easy to get in touch or book. Remove friction. Don’t ask for more than name, email, and one question. Pro tip: You don’t need to design from scratch. The Eazi-Business Business-in-a-Box gives you ready-made homepage templates with proven structure, persuasive copy blocks, and branding flexibility. Use our pre-built website framework to launch with confidence and convert faster.
