Tips for Keeping YourBrand Blog Up to Date

We’ve outlined the importance of having a brand blog on your website before and it certainly seems that for most brands taking digital seriously, they’re doing just that. For so many though, the issue is keeping it going. You know blogs are superb landing page material for social media traffic. You know it’s extremely healthy for your SEO and helps to grow the size of your site. You know it creates advocacy amongst your audience to serve up on trend content. But let’s face it, sometimes you just don’t know what to write about. Not every business can afford to hire in house copywriters and not every brand owner is going to have the time or necessarily the flair to produce captivating blog content. Even if you do, sometimes the issue can simply be a lack of inspiration. Don’t worry here’re some tips for how to keep inspired on your blog writing or get someone else to do it!

Hire a Content Agency – In house copywriting hires can turn out not to be very cost effective unless your business has other internal content creation requirements as well as your blog activity. If you can’t warrant the full-time position or simply don’t want to take on any further employees, get an agency. Content marketing is a huge market and while many agencies don’t have the ability to create content without outsourcing, there are more and more agencies dedicated to content marketing alone. These will often have professional copywriters to not just produce the content for you but also come up with the ideas, so you don’t have to. The better ones will even upload the content for you; think of it as blog management. Many brands find it beneficial to combine this with social media management for the very same reasons. Get an Opinion – The chances are your industry is buzzing with news and developments around the clock. As a business owner, it’s more than likely you’re dialled in and clued up on these topics considerably more than the average Joe. As a brand, while you will sometimes need to appear neutral under certain circumstances, don’t be afraid to express an opinion. Either as an individual or as a brand collective. Separate yourself from the market - sometimes a bit of controversy is good. Either way it adds authority and personality to your blog to give your unique perspective on popular, trending and developing topics. Show your audience how switched on you are. It’s Ok to Talk About You – Brand loyalty is earned in a number of different ways when it comes to the modern-day audience. More often than not, your audience will be happy to hear about the business’s progression, where you’re heading, plans for the future, new developments etc. Don’t go openly boasting about your sky-high product margins or anything, but remember it is ok to be proud of your business. Shout about how big your social media following is and thank your audience. Tell your customers what your most popular products are and how much people love them. A little bit of self-promotion is ok, just make sure it’s done tastefully and with an air of constant gratitude to your customers.

Your homepage is your agency’s first handshake. If it’s unclear, cluttered, or generic—you’re losing potential clients in seconds. Here's what your homepage actually needs to convert visitors into leads. 1. A Headline That Tells Them What You Do “Helping local businesses grow with mobile apps and digital tools.” Make it specific, client-focused, and benefit-driven. If it could apply to anyone, it applies to no one. 2. A Strong Subheadline That Builds Trust “Trusted by 1,000+ entrepreneurs across 20 countries.” This is your social proof shortcut. Numbers work. So do logos and testimonials. 3. A Visual That Shows the Result Use mockups, screenshots, or lifestyle photos. Help visitors see what they’ll get—a mobile app, a dashboard, a website, a client smiling. 4. A Short List of Benefits (Not Features) Launch your digital presence fast No tech skills required Support and tools included Keep it tight. Think “what’s in it for me?” from the client’s point of view. 5. A Clear Call to Action (CTA) “Book a free call” “Get your launch pack” “See what’s possible” CTAs should stand out visually and be repeated 2–3 times on the page. 6. A Simple Contact Form or Button Make it easy to get in touch or book. Remove friction. Don’t ask for more than name, email, and one question. Pro tip: You don’t need to design from scratch. The Eazi-Business Business-in-a-Box gives you ready-made homepage templates with proven structure, persuasive copy blocks, and branding flexibility. Use our pre-built website framework to launch with confidence and convert faster.
