4 Inspirational Accounts for Entrepreneurs to Follow on Instagram

Rebecca Dakota Digital • 5 March 2019

Any modern-day entrepreneur will know the significance of social media when it comes to making an impact and generating awareness for yourself and your business or brand. But there is also a great deal of inspiration and education available on social platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn, from other entrepreneurs and brands who can help you in a different way.

We all have tough days and as an entrepreneur or small business owner you’re going to have plenty. You may also just generally run out of steam or need a pick up. Here are some great Instagram accounts we think every budding entrepreneur and business owner should be following for ongoing education and motivation:

Gary Vaynerchuk - @garyvee

Vaynerchuk is a serial digital investor with brands including Facebook and Twitter on his resume among others. His account has a modern and edgy feel to it in general and is always on topic with what’s happening in the digital and financial world.

What we love about him though is that for the most part he has a no nonsense say it like it is approach to his advice.

Harvard Business Review - @harvard_business_review

If you like to think then this is the account follow for you. General workplace thinking and business challenges, which more often than not, involve studies or topics from tabloids or other magazines which HBS has reviewed or given their take on.

What we love about the HBS account is that while it carries useful information and topics, it’s also a true to Instagram styled account with colourful and clever photography to keep it pleasing to the eye.

Richard Branson - @richardbranson

Let’s face it. Richard Branson is the fun loving, innovative and rich grandad you wish you had. He’s arguably one of the most successful men of our generation and what’s more, he works hard for it. He’s always doing something new and often it’s totally unexpected. He’s curious and always looking for new inspiration himself and this comes through in his posts.

He’s a well-travelled, hardworking, hard playing, successful modern-day entrepreneur. What is there not to find inspiring about Branson?

Mark Cuban - @mcuban

Another great example of a successful modern-day entrepreneur. Mark Cuban has a great personality and it shines through in his posts in a superb way. The best thing about Mark though, aside from his dedication and words of wisdom, is the way that his account shows you that even at the level of success he enjoys, a work/life balance is possible. A very healthy thing all aspiring big shots need to keep in mind.
